Your first step, grasshopper, will be to learn the proper spelling of Hurlbut. 😉

The least we can do is take the time to complete the survey and give back to the man and his staff who do so much to share the endless information we all benefit from. Thank You and keep up the great work!

Hey Shane,
Heard you were working on another movie from Lydia, hope all went well and can’t wait to see it in theaters.
Have a great weekend. Take care of yourself and keep the great video coming.

As i. Said some where on Shane’s blog. It was his Herb Ritts story / behind the scenes that still resonates with me. I filled out the survey. Was glad to!

Be well

Laurence

Had a brief work experience with you and crew on Prudential sunset spot. The Herb Ritts story was indeed very good.
Thank you for all the inspirational material.

Hi Shane

Sorry I missed the deadline for this, I am a relative newcomer to your site. I would love to contribute to any feedback you need in the future.

Would just like to say how much I appreciate all the time and effort you must put into collating and sharing all this information. It’s absolutely fantastic. I am currently in the throes of trying to wade my way through the jungle of cameras that are now on offer with a view to possibly buying, something I always said I would never do with a movie camera.

I have previously shot using one of the Sony offerings, and have a lot of experience of Sony through the broadcast part of my profession. I also have a lot of experience of Canon and their lenses through my stills work. But trying to decide which way to go in terms of a camera to concentrate on, and possibly buy, with all the different pros and cons is proving very, very difficult.

The information and experiences you’re sharing is a real, unique benefit.

Would love to have some time on the phone with you… anytime…!

Best wishes,
Adrian Turpin,
Kendal, UK
