The first ever Film + Music Conference, organized by our good friends at Musicbed and Filmsupply, is an event for every level of filmmaker featuring keynote speakers, educational breakouts, and social events. They’re also including live performances from great indie musicians during the two-day event set in Fort Worth, Texas on September 29 – 30, 2017.
If you’re looking for an opportunity to push yourself to the next level, this is a great place to do it. They’ll be featuring great speakers from the industry. National Geographic Creative Director Andy Baker will be speaking, along with Columbia Directing Coach Adrienne Weiss, the team from Philadelphia production company Neighborhood Film Co., and Shane, pending availability, will be delivering a keynote address! They’ll be adding even more great speakers in the coming weeks, so be sure to sign up for their email updates to stay in the loop.
We can’t stress enough how great events like Film + Music Conference can be for filmmakers. With inspirational content from speakers and tangible, useful information on the art and technique, it can definitely be a way to get some traction in your professional life. The two-day schedule is also built for plenty of time to make connections with filmmakers and meet all sorts of people in the industry.
If you missed our last meet up, or even if you’re looking for another great avenue to push yourself professionally, this can be a great event to start. They’ve priced their passes very low for the film conference market — just $399 for early bird passes, which are available until July 1st. Be sure to get yours soon!
Shane is looking forward to kicking off this brand-new conference, and we hope you’ll join in! See you in Texas!
